This Island is located towards the bottom part of West Bengal and its that place where you see land is really ending and slowly crawling into the deep sea. Mousuni Island is open to sea from its three sides. Its a landmass rinsed by sea and river waters.

The property in Mousuni Island has a tent facility, which is a sheer mixture of nature and solace. Keeping in sync with the purely natural environment, the property ensures to put the elements of the mechanized world at bay, only provided with the basic necessities like toilets, fresh sheets, warm blankets, pillows. There are a total of 7 tents in total and 4 toilets in western style. The accommodation for each tent is 3 persons and the total accommodation can’t exceed 20 persons. Electricity is unavailable so Solar power is the source of energy here.

Mousuni Island: Best time to visit
The place can be visited all through the year but because of the proximity to the sea, the summers are highly humid. The rainy season is a bit risky near the sea so most of the camps stay closed. Therefore December toMid April is the ideal time to visit Mousuni.
How to Reach Mousuni Island
You can avail the bus or train to reach Namkhana. After reaching Namkhana, cross the river Hatania Doania by a 10 minutes boat ride.
After reaching, book a Toto till Bagdanga kheya ghat, which will take approximately 30 minutes.
Again 20 minutes boat ride towards Bagdanga.
From Bagdanga, the vehicle of the property will pick you up and drop at Baliara, after covering 20 minutes distance.
