Local Hikes :The place is set in the lap of nature amidst greeneries. You may take a hike to the nearby winding roads along the hills, through the pine forests. Moreover, you may walk for half an hour to the nearby Batasia Loop, for a panoramic view of the city and the mighty Kanchenjungha.
Tea Garden Visit and Tea Tasting Season :The property is adjacent to Alubari Tea garden, and several other tea estates. A visit to these properties can be arranged for a tea tasting season or to see the processing of Darjeeling tea.
Bird-Watching and Wildlife : As a result of being in the outskirts of the city, and in the vicinity of tea gardens, a number of birds and other wild animals inhabit this area. Himalayan swiftlet, spotted owlet, sunbirds, Spider-hunter, Bunting and Bush warblers are often seen in this area.

Batasia Loop :It is a park and a stop of the UNESCO world heritage Himalayan Mountain Railway, with a panoramic view of the city. There is a war memorial, which is located at the centre of Batasia Loop, to commemorate the brave soldiers of Gorkha regiment sacrificing their lives in various wars and operations after India’s independence for the country.
Ghoom Station : India’s highest operational railway station is Ghoom. Right next to the Ghoom Station, there is a Darjeeling Himalayan Railway Museum which has the oldest DHR engine the Baby Sivok in its premises and a wide range of old railway artefacts.
Rock Garden and Ganga Maya Park :This is a man-made rock garden in front of beautiful waterfalls along with the park, sitting at the foothill of the mountain. A great place for unwinding.
Tiger Hill Sunrise Point : This place is located at the altitude of 1100 ft. Tiger hill offers a panoramic view of Darjeeling and the surrounding area, as well as it is famous for the amazing sunrise view with the glittering Kanchenjunga peak.
Monastery : Yi Gha Choling Gompa and Samten Choeling Monastery near the Ghoom railway station and post-office area are major crowd-pullers. These places offer a unique insight into the cultural, religious and historical heritage of this area.

Rail : The nearest rail-station is New Jalpaiguri Jn. From there it is nearly 60 km away which takes 2 hours and 30 minutes to reach by car.
Air : The nearest airport is Bagdogra, 67 km away and takes a car 3 hours to reach the place.
Road : From Kolkata, the property is approximately 612 km away and it takes around 16 hours to reach by NH12 or NH19.
Best Time to Visit
Summer season temperature is quite comfortable and the temperature is mild, with a clear sky. Similarly, winter is chilling but the shining sun makes the stay memorable. Monsoon paints the hills in a vibrant green colour.
