To one who has been long in city pent its been always a blessing to spend some indolent hours in the lap of nature. Bon Pahari, a 3-star homestay located in the midst of lush green surrounding and hills as the name suggests offers all the comforts and amenities to the visitors with ultimate satisfaction. BEST TIME TO VISIT :
One can visit this place throughout the year but the best time would be between the months of October to March. The weather is cool and clear visiting the jungle becomes enjoyable. Monsoon seasons from June to September becomes uncomfortable. The Buxa Reserve Forest also remains closed during this time.
HOW TO REACH :
There are a bunch of trains regularly going to New Alipurduar (NOQ) from Howrah, Sealdah or Kolkata station. Kanchanjangha Exp, Saraighat Exp, Kamrup Exp, Kanchankanya Exp, Padatik Exp, and Testa Torsa Exp are the popular choices by the visitors.
By road, Kolkata to Alipurduar is 706 KM journey and it takes about 17 hours mostly through NH12 and NH27.
The nearest airport to Alipurduar is Bagdogra Airpot in Siliguri. And from Siliguri Alipurduar is to be reached by road.
