Our property here is a bit far from the Purulia town, set amidst nature in such a way that you will be able to soak in the ambiance completely. The village where it is located is called Tulin, locally known as the last village of Purulia. As it is at the border of West Bengal and Jharkhand, you can explore the best of both when you stay here. Ajodhya Pahar
One of the prime attractions, the Ajodhya Pahar is a hilly plateau here. At a distance of 38 km from the property, the place offers a unique combination of forests, lakes, and hills. As the local legends say, Lord Ramachandra and Devi Sita visited the place during the time of their exile. If you love to trek, this will be a great experience for you.
Muruguma Dam
At a distance of 20 km from the property, this is a spot that offers a great view from the high altitude. The dam is built on a tributary of the Kangsabati River. You will have to walk a bit to reach the best views. In winter, you can also bring food from the property and enjoy a picnic with friends and family. The green hills reflected on the clean water of the dam adds another level of beauty to it.
Hudru Falls
One of the most famous Indian falls, you cannot afford to miss the Hudru falls, at a distance of 46 km from Tulin. On the river Subarnarekha, the falls come down to a massive 320 feet. It is a sight for sour eyes. The beauty is often compared to Niagra falls, especially if you come here during the monsoon.
Rajrappa Temple
At a distance of 45 km from the property, Rajrappa is a religious place. You will find a number of temples, but the most famous one is dedicated to Maa Chhinnamasta. She is a ferocious incarnation of the Mother Goddess. You can see regular puja offered to the Devi in the temple.
Garpanchkot
This is another major tourist site in Purulia. The main attraction is the ruins of a fort, which gave rise to the name. Panchkot kings built it, in 1600 AD at the foothold of the hills, to stop the Bargi attacks.

Rail: The nearest rail station is Muri Jn. You can reach in here by the trains like Ranchi Shatabdi, Ranchi Hatia, or Howrah Ranchi Intercity express. From there it is only 3 km away, which takes 10 minutes to reach by car.
Air: The nearest airport is Birsa Munda Airport, Ranchi at a distance of 65 km. It takes a car 2 hours to reach the place.
Road: From Kolkata, the property is approximately 338 km away, and it takes around 7 hours 30 minutes to reach by NH19 or NH314.
Best Time to Visit
Winter months i.e. November to February is the best time to visit. After that, spring carries a beautiful charm with the flowers. Though Summer brings out the harsh weather, if you can bear it, it can be rewarding. Whereas monsoon will soothe your eyes with greenery and the sight of the marvelous falls.
