*Kanchenjunga Package Itinerary*

Day 01: Pick up from NJP/Bagdogra, and Transfer to Charkhol, overnight stay at Charkhol.

Day 02: After breakfast, please go for Kalimpong and Delo local sightseeing, overnight stay at Charkhol.

Day 03: Transfer to Peshok with local sightseeing on the way, overnight stay at Peshok.

Day 04: After breakfast, Takdah, Lamahatta, & Tinchuley local sightseeing. Overnight stay at Peshok.

Day 05: Drop to NJP/Bagdogra

*Detailed Itinerary*:

Day 1: (NJP/Bagdogra to charkhole)

As per your travel plan, you will be picked up from New Jalpaiguri/ Bagdogra. In a car, you will be transferred to Charkhole. It is a 73 km journey, which will take around 3 hours to reach due to steel and narrow mountain roads that wind along the hill. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and changing landscapes as the journey goes on. On the way, see the famous Sevoke Kalibari and the Coronation bridge which will be on the side of the road. The Teesta river in all its glory, will be your companion on the way. There are some family restaurants on the way, around Sevoke, where you can have a brunch with Momos and Thukpas too. Reach Charkhole and rest for the day. If the sky is clear, you can see a beautiful Kanchenjunga range in the last light of the day, welcoming you to the mountains.

Day 2:(Kalimpong, Delo, Lava siteseeing)

Wake up early in the morning, and take a walk to the local sunrise points, which are near to the property. If there is less fog, you can enjoy an amazing sunrise, with colors changing on the snow-capped peaks. Also, you can get an unobstructed view from the property itself if you do not prefer the hike. Then, you have a sightseeing tour scheduled to Kalimpong and the surrounding area. Do check out spots like Morgan House, Cactus nursery, or the Delo resort area and the surrounding gardens. You can also go paragliding from here if the weather is clear, upon contacting the local operators. Also, do not miss the Durpin Nursery and the viewpoints along the way. If the driver agrees, then upon extra payment, you can also go to check out Lava and the Lava Monastery. In this case, it will be late afternoon when you return. Stay the night at the Charkhol property.

Day 3: (Charkhole to peshok)

Wake up to a beautiful morning and pack your things, as you will be transferred to Peshok this morning. There are two routes, where one passes through the Tista Bazar area, and the other goes through the Kalimpong area. If you take the latter, you can check out Lolegaon if not seen the day before. However, there are some charming sightseeing points on the Teesta Bazar route too. Do not miss the stop at the Lovers Meet View Point and have the tasty snacks there while enjoying the view over the Tribeni point. Reach Peshok and relax for the day. Located in a dreamy backdrop, you can enjoy all the modern amenities. In the afternoon, you can go for a walk in the local trails through tea gardens and pine forests. The large windows offer a majestic view of the charming scenery outside.

Day 4: (Takdah , Lamahatta, Tinchuley Siteseeing)

After breakfast, get ready for a local trip. The points covered today are Takdah, Lamahatta, and Tinchuley. Takdah is a serene and secluded spot, which is covered by fog most of the year. Misty mountain roads, natural trails, and famous tea gardens- you will love it here. Lamahatta is an eco-tourism place, and there are several homestays that are operated by the local tribal villagers. Tinchuley, as the name refers, is surrounded by three mountains that look like three ovens or Chulas. There is a hamlet in here, which you will love. Also, do visit the Tinchuley Monastery, where there is a line of prayer wheels. The place is also famous for there is a lama here who meditated for over seventeen years. On the way back, you can buy high-quality tea leaves from the tea gardens. At night, return to Peshok. Have a relaxing sleep after a delectable dinner on our property.

Day 5:(Peshok to NJP/BAGDOGRA)

It is the day of return. See the sunrise from the property. Have your breakfast, pack your bags and get ready for the drop to NJP/Bagdogra.
