Local experience: The property has a big lawn. You can sit here on the sunny winter morning and enjoy breakfast. The same place is great to enjoy the evening snacks in summer. If you are here with a family and kids, they will love running around and playing on the lush green lawn.

The sea is within walking distance from here. You can go there for the sunrise view in the early morning. The fresh sea breeze will accompany you. There are several water bodies that are used for fishery purposes. You can go for angling there too. Also, you can buy fresh fish from there, which can be cooked on the property upon prior intimation.

Some of the prominent local sightseeing points are Baguran Jalpai, Haripur sea beach, Light House, the Kapalkundala temple, etc.

Digha Beach:

There are two beaches in Digha, the New Digha beach and the Old Digha beach. The New Digha beach is more popular among the crowd. You can go shopping on the counters along the way to the beach too. There are several food stalls and snack counters. The New Digha beach stays in a festive mood throughout the year.

Marine aquarium:

A must-visit in Digha. The marine aquarium has a huge collection of aqua flora and faunas. The colorful display of live fishes, crabs, and snails is kept here. Besides, you can find a number of preserved deep-sea animals, and a whale skeleton too.

Udaipur Beach:

It is a famous beach with picturesque surroundings. Udaipur is a location straight out of the movie screen, with a number of local and short-film shoots being done here. Come here to enjoy a walk by the Jhau forest on the beach.

Rail: The nearest rail station is Digha. From there it is nearly 40 km away, which takes 1 hour to reach by car.

Air: The nearest airport is Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Airport, Kolkata. 190 km away and takes a car 4 hours 40 minutes to reach the place.

Road: From Kolkata, the property is approximately 177 km away, and it takes around 4 hours and 30 minutes to reach via NH16.

Best Time To Visit Junput:

You can visit Junput all year around. The summer months are refreshing and the winter is not too chilly. You will enjoy the monsoon months from June to September too, with some great fish dishes and a rain-soaked sea, which is a beauty in itself.
