Buddha Park- the Buddha Park of Ravangla offers majestic views, the park features a 40m high statue of Buddha.

Pemayangtse Gompa- a Buddhist monastery in Pemayangtse is one of the oldest monasteries of Sikkim. It is one of the most famous tourist attractions in the west of Sikkim.

Relong Monastery- located six kilometres from Ravangla, Relong Monastery is a Buddhist monastery of the Kagyu sector of Tibetan Buddhism in the southern part of Sikkim, and the Monastery has a massive collection of paintings and thangkas.

Rabdentse Ruins- Rabdentse Ruins is the archaeological site, which was the second capital of Sikkim until 1814 A.D. however, in the 18th century, post the Nepalese invasion, the palace and the monastery compound was destructed into ruins.

 

Best Time to Visit

Ravangla, Sikkim can be best enjoyed during summers, summers here begins from the month of April and stays till the end of June. On the other side, if you are planning to visit the place during winters, be prepared for the cold days and chilly nights, heavy winter clothing is must at this time.

The nearest airport is Gangtok which is 73 km and 2 hr 50 mins away, Bagdogra is 127 km away from the place, if you are planning to travel by railways, then NJP is the nearest rail station which is 125 km away and the nearest bus stand is Tenzin Norgay bus stop which is 120 km away.

There are a total of 8 rooms in the property, designed tastefully in the traditional Sikkimese style to keep the culture alive. One can opt for the Continental Plan (CP) that includes bed and breakfast.

A Log house suite will cost INR 4000 + 5% GST, a villa suite can be acquired at the rate of INR 4500 + 5% GST and Family cottage (Mambru/Maenam) can be booked at INR 4800 + 5% GST and the cost of extra bedding is INR 1500 per night.
