The blossoming and the harvesting season of oranges is from November to January. This makes it the best time to visit. By Train: The major stations – Siliguri is 48 km and NJP is 52 km from Sittong. From the stations, one has to book the cabs. The cabs take about 2 hours to reach depending on the road condition.
By Flight: Bagdogra airport is situated around 56 km from the town. It takes about 2 hours 15 minutes to reach depending on the road condition.
