03. Kurseong<\/span><\/h2>\n

04. Lava<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

A small hamlet, situated 34 km east of the town of Kalimpong. It sits at an altitude of 7016ft (2138m).One of the few places to receive snow in winter. Lava is the entry point to the Neora Valley National Park from Kalimpong. Tropical deciduous vegetation to alpine trees of fir, prune, birch give it a picturesque setting. Himalayan black bear and barking deer roam its forests.
