“Life happens to you when you are busy planning other things”

That is what one feels as you step into this ethereal world, hidden and tucked away from the madness. Your thoughts which are filled with the daily stress of our mundane lives slowly and steadily fades away. Your eyes will take time to adjust to this beautiful Asan Nagar Eco Village Farm House, engulfed in greenery and the best of nature surrounded by incredible rural beauty.

Start your mornings with viewing the Sunrise, maybe it is time to try your hand at Surya Namaskar! Sitting in the Baranda, sipping your hot cup of tea, you steadily watch the village life unfold in front of you. At a distant, you can hear the hark of the fisherman as he casts his net. As the harvest sways with every slight wind, the paddy fields look bountiful, as if nature has blessed this hamlet, feast your eyes on the marigold fields, a riot of colour.

Life is indeed beautiful!

Watch the farmers toil in their fields, proud of themselves and their land. Join the village elders under the Banyan tree, for a lovely chat and as the sun starts to set, take a country boat ride, we promise you, this is a ride you will never forget. At a distant, the solitary Baul sings out, and your heart feels a bittersweet pain. You long to join him in his journey, but, well you need to go back to the farmhouse, a Bonfire and your favorite tipple are waiting.

Life indeed!

And yes, we can’t resist not mentioning the scrumptious food, starting from Phulko Luchi, Tarkari, Mishti for breakfast. Tea/ coffee and snacks, Lip-smacking lunch and dinner. Believe us when you dig into that Kosha Mangsho and Mishti Pulao, time stops still, life is worth living!

  1. Highly Disappointed ( especially with the food that they market the most )

Over-priced and overhyped. The kind of facilities they provide at such a price point is not all worth it. Especially the food. They have a fixed menu, will not be arranging anything else according to your own convenience. You have to find people here and there to have tea in the evening. What else to say. There are a lot of homestays we have stayed at even lower price points, the hospitality that is provided by those are not even comparable with what this one provides. Selling sentiments does not make your business. Please put your heart into it. Because you are charging quite high for this.
