By Bus: Take any bus coming towards Bishnupur via which leave from Esplanade (City Centre). On your route, get down at Joypur, right in front of the resort entrance.
By Car: Bishnupur is about 140kms from Kolkata and can take a travel time of about 4.5hours.
By Train: You can take any local train to Tarakeshwar from Howrah and then take a bus from there to Joypur. You can also choose to avail direct express trains like the Rupashi Bangla or the Aranyak which will take you directly to Bishnupur.
