It’s a small village in the district of South 24 Parganas at the banks of the gorgeous Hooghly River. The rooms are fuss-free, and spacious and have plenty of natural sunlight and air. But oh! It will be the greatest shame of all time if we don’t mention the balconies! The balconies are big and beautiful, where you can just sit atop a chair and enjoy the sun rising in the east. If you are a night owl like us, you can opt for the sunset instead and watch the vibrant colors of the sunset playing with the sparkling Hooghly River. By air:The nearest airport is Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport at Dumdum, a little bit further than the railway station. The distance between the airport and our resort is almost 58 km.
By road:Kolkata is only 41 km away from Burul. Close enough to be back home before the work week starts and still far enough to be away from the cacophony and the pollution. It takes less than 2 hours to reach Burul from Kolkata by car.
