While we, in the city get tired of daily urbanization, this simple world of the earthly people beckons us just to escape the concrete land and move to the serenity of nature. Chilapata Jungle camp is such a place where you can find peace and also take a break from stress and find peace in the lush greenery. The place is in between Jaldapara and Buxa reserve forest. Accommodation:A total number of 6 elephant cottages and 2 bamboo cottages are there in Chilapata jungle campus. Both A.C and non-A.C. elephant cottages are available with a triple bed. The amenities which are available in the room is 24 hrs electricity supply is available. Attach bathroom, room heater hot & cold water, LED T.V. Three Non A.C triple bed elephant cottage accommodation is available. Other than A.C rest of the amenities are same A.C cottages. Bamboo cottages are eco-friendly and made in the shape of a tribal house.
Meals are all made of organic material harvested in their own farm. Recipes are local but authentically prepared. We have a multi-cuisine restaurant where guests can order ala carte. One conference hall which has a capacity of 1400 people.

Outdoor Activities near Chilapata Jungle Camp
The camp has local plants, bushes, beautiful flower plants where birds chirp and colorful grasshoppers and butterflies come hovering here and there. The place also has a frog pool and a butterfly garden, which the youth of the area maintain regularly. Local trained youths are a part of the campus and they involve themselves in the hospitality and housekeeping department. If you want you can ask them to arrange Folk dance and songs within the campus.
Nearby Attraction of Chilapata Jungle Camp
Chilapata is existing between Jaldapara and Buxa tiger reserve. You can take a jeep or rented car to pay a visit to Jaldapara and Buxa Tiger reserve. When you are visiting Buxa you will be visiting some more places like Rajabhatkhawa, Santabari, 28 miles, and Jayanti. Jaldapara is a national park where all reptiles, amphibians, and mammals are the major fauna for example wild boar, deer, elephant.
How to Reach Chilapata Jungle Camp
By Air: The Bagdogra airport in Siliguri, all over India is connected to the airport. You can rent a car to reach The Chilapata Jungle Camp.
By Train: New Jalpaiguri station is well connected to all over India. You got down at the station, and proceed towards the taxi stand. You can take rented cars or taxi services to reach the camp.
By Road: you can drive your own car or take a rented car from Siliguri or New Jalpaiguri. During the journey, you will have an awesome experience lush green nature. It will take around 4 hours from New Jalpaiguri to Chilapata by road.
