Rail: The nearest rail station is Hasimara JN. It lies only 25 km away, which takes around 35 minutes to reach by car. Another major rail station is Falakata, which is 29 km away, but it takes around 1 hour to reach. If you prefer the New Jalpaiguri Jn. to reach here, it will take around 4 hours to cross 160 km to reach here.

Air: The nearest airport is Bagdogra, 177 km away and takes a car 4 hours 15 minutes to reach the place.

Road: From Kolkata, the property is approximately 714 km away and it takes more than 16 hours to reach by NH12 or NH17 and NH 19.

Best Time to Visit Chilapata Luxury Resort

The best months to visit here is from October to April or early May. The temperature remains at a comfortable level. This weather is perfect for visiting wildlife and enjoying the elephant safari. Monsoon brings quite heavy rain here, and the roads get damaged. Besides, the jungle also stays closed at that time.
