The finest time to visit is throughout the winter months, amid November and February when the weather is flawless. The temperature during the winter season is typically from 10-14 degrees Celsius, which makes it an enjoyable enough weather to do some picnicking. Being a weekend destination the place is enjoyable throughout the year with moderate climate condition prevailing.

By Road : It is almost 70 km from Kolkata. You can take the Bombay Road NH6 from Kolkata. It is almost one and a half hour drive.

By Train: Howrah to Deulti south eastern trains are available which takes almost 1hr 15min to reach.
