Day Wise Itinerary:

 

Day 1 : Cochin to Munnar

Arrival Cochin, Meet our tour representative. Transfer to Munnar. Munnar, which is called ” nature lover’s paradise” with sprawling tea plantations. Munnar is 1800 mts above sea level, 130 kms from Cochin (4 hrs drive). En-rooted visit Cheeyappara and Vallara waterfall On arrival here, check into the hotel. Rest of the day free for leisure at the hotel or optionally you can go for Kathakali show, Kalarippayattu show, Ayurveda massage, elephant ride, walk into tea plantation etc… and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 : Munnar

This days sightseeing can including a visit to Mattupetty for boating, Eco-point, shooting point, rose garden, Chengulam dam, tea museum etc. Munnar, once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Govt. in South India, is located at the confluence of 03 rivers as the very name signifies. The sprawling tea plantations and picturesque towns make Munnar a popular hill resort town in South India. Afternoon visit to Rajamala or Eravikulam National Park. Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 03 : Munnar – Thekkady

The morning after breakfast checkout from Munnar hotel and drive to Thekkady. Check into hotel and relax. Then have local sightseeing which includes Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary with boating, Spice plantation, Spice market etc. Back to hotel and stay overnight.

Day 4 : Thekkady to Alleppey (House Boat)

Then after breakfast check out from Hotel and drive to Alleppey to board into Houseboat at 12 Noon. Enjoy the day with a backwater cruise on the Vembanad Lake. Overnight stay is on the houseboat.

Day 5 : Alleppey to Cochin

The morning after breakfast check out from houseboat and proceed to Cochin Airport for departure for your onward journey.
