How to Reach

Rail: The nearest rail station is New Jalpaiguri Jn. From there it is 73 km away which takes 2 hours and 40 minutes to reach by car.

Air: The nearest airport is Bagdogra, 80 km away and takes a car 2 hours 50 minutes to reach the place.

Road: From Kolkata, the property is approximately 640 km away and it takes more than 17 hours to reach by NH12 or NH19.

The property is located 3km from the main Darj-kpg highway, the 2 km stretch is a bit rough but not too winding. The last 1 km is under construction road so a bit rough n gets difficult to ply during rains. But from that point it is walkable. Best Time To Visit

Lamahatta in the summer is the most sought-after season. There is a huge crowd of tourists coming here with family, as the summer vacation begins. In monsoon, the road condition worsens and a veil of mist and cloud cover the place. Winter is chilly, but when the sun comes out, you can see the best view of the glittering Kanchenjunga. The nearby orange plantations are in full bloom at that time too.
