All cottages stand on a slope, thus all rooms face the Kanchenjunga. One can go Trekking and Hiking. Avoid the trekking in monsoon because it’s the season of LEECHES! Visit Sunrise point, 10 min in a vehicle and 15 min Trek to zero points, but for those who do not wish to walk or unable to do so, the cottages are such that you can view the sunset from your room itself. How good can that get! Nature park inside the Forest is also an exciting experience. Visit nearby villages, experience their lifestyle and culture. And take back the thought that such, beautiful, simple life can be led in such terrains.

Canopy Park or Hanging Bridge, walking distance from the Resort is situated in the Heritage Forest, it’s a unique and rare place to visit. Jhandidara, 4 km from Resort where one can see beautiful Sunrise and view the Kanchenjunga, also if one has Avian interests, bird watching is equally good here. And night, after an exciting day, when darkness descends, gather your loved ones, cherish your favourite tipple and watch the twinkling lights of distant Kalimpong.

Hills have an issue with electricity, but not to fret. 24hr generator facility is there.

Food, yes delicious, organic, fresh food will warm the cockles of your heart.

A fully functional Restaurant is operational serving both Indian and Chinese. But, do request and try local cuisine.

Best Time to Visit Lolegaon

Although Lolegaon is an ideal holiday destination almost throughout the year, the best season to visit Rishap is between the autumn months of October to November and springtime of February to March. During this time it is neither too hot nor cold and the weather is perfect for a trek.
