Don’t worry, living in the wilderness does not mean you have to compromise your comfort. The magnificent Kanchenjunga is visible from our resort premises and trust us when we say, the snowy greatness will blow your mind. We can also arrange a small bonfire on our resort premises, where you can enjoy the warmth, exchange stories, and just soak in the unmatchable beauty of Lungchu. Our resort, The Lungchu Homestay, although far enough to be free from the crowds, is still close enough to the popular tourist spots in this area. You can easily visit the spots and still be back in time for lunch! Yes! That’s how greatly located we are!

Tariff of Lungchu Homestay:

Our guests will have to pay a minimal charge of INR 1450+5% GST per head per day and we will take care of everything, including the delicious Breakfast, heartwarming Lunch, and soulful Dinner.

Changey Falls:

The highest waterfall in this area, the Changey Falls is only 2 km from our resort. We can arrange a car, or if you are an adventurous soul, you can trek in the mountain trails for half an hour to reach this popular tourist spot.

Mulkharka Lake:

The Mulkharka Lake, also known as the Wishing Lake among the locals, is situated at the border of Bengal and Sikkim. Don’t worry, it is only 24 km from our beautiful homestay. If you are lucky, you can see the crisp reflection of Mount Kanchenjunga on the crystal-clear water of the lake.

Lolegaon:

Lolegaon is another very famous spot you can visit. You can visit the canopy walk or the Eco-park. It is only 34 km from our homestay.

How to reach:

By road: It is 112 km away from Siliguri town and 45 km from Kalimpong. It is closer to Kolakham, located at a distance of only 5 km. You can take a cab from almost anywhere to reach our resort.

By air: The nearest major airport is Bagdogra International Airport, which is 123 km from our resort. However, the tiny Pakyong Airport is 41 km from here.

By rail: The nearest major railway station is NJP, located almost 114 km away.
