Moti Jheel: As the name suggests, Moti Jheel, or the Pearl Lake compound is at a walkable distance from the property. The lake and the adjacent ruins of a palace is the main attraction. There is also an eco-park in the compound.
Hazarduari Palace: A must-visit place in Murshidabad, it is a magnificent piece of architecture. The palace was built in 1837 in the time of the Nawab Nazim Humayunja and still standing with the full glory. ‘Hazarduari’ means ‘a thousand doors’. With the 900 real ones and 100 painted doors that look like the real ones, the total number reaches thousand. The palace is spread across 41 acres, with a combination of European architecture. Now it consists of 114 rooms and 8 galleries in the museum, which houses an extensive collection of art and armoury.
Nizmat Imbabura: The Nizamat Imambara is a mosque, which is at the north side of Hazarduari Palace. It was built in 1847 AD by Nawab Nazim Mansoor Ali Khan Feradun Jah. It is the largest Imambara in Bengal and one of the largest in the country. Do check the surrounding points of interests like Tripolia Gate, Bachhawali Tope, Chak Darwaja and the Madina, build by Siraj-Ud-Daulla.
Katra Masjid: It was built in 1723, on the orders of Murshid Quli Khan, who was the first Nawab of Bengal. It is a brick-build mosque, with miners and domes. This is where Murshid Quli Khan spent the last few years of his life. Also, his remains lie here since 1727, underneath the stairs at the entrance of the mosque.

Rail: The nearest rail station is Berhampur Court. From there it is nearly 11 km away, which takes 30 minutes to reach by car.
Air: The nearest airport is Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Airport, Kolkata. 190 km away and takes a car 5 hours 30 minutes to reach the place.
Road: From Kolkata, the property is approximately 202 km away, and it takes around 6 hours to reach by NH12.
Best Time to Visit Murshidabad River Side Resort:
The best time to travel is between October to March/Early April. In these months, you can enjoy the historical monuments for a longer time. Summer is harsher, but it is a good time to enjoy a good taste of mangoes. During the rainy season, the indoor options are better. However, you can taste the delicious Hilsa fish from the nearby markets or restaurants.
