From the yards of our cottages, you can even watch the sunset or sunrise over the Phuldungri hilltop. Also, we have facilities for an open bonfire, where you can chitchat and spend some quality time while watching your food getting roasted in the wood-lit fire. The river is nearby too. Take a walk to the riverside, sit on the banks, and indulge in fishing. You will love every moment of your time there.

Rankini Kali Temple:
Are you a fan of historical temples & structures? If the answer is yes, then the Ghatshila Rankini Kali Temple can be a great choice for you. It is a temple dedicated to Goddess Kali, the warrior avatar of the Primordial Mother Goddess of Hinduism. The place has carvings of Hindu deities painted on the walls of the temple.
Phuldungri Hills:
This is another tourist attraction near Ghatshila. It is a hill spot covered with dense forest where incomparable scenic beauty complements the spot. This place is yet to be hounded by the usual raucous crowd, which has helped to preserve its natural state.
Burudih lake:

How to Reach Ghatshila:
Rail: The nearest major rail station is Kharagpur. From there, the property is around 118 km away and it takes around 2 hours by car to reach. The Ghatsila railway station is also nearby, but very few trains stop there. From there, it is only 3 km away and takes about 5 minutes to reach by car.
Air: The nearest airport is Birsa Munda Airport at Ranchi, 171 km away, and it takes a car around 5 hours to reach this place from that airport.
Road: From Kolkata, the property is approximately 245 km away and takes around 6 hours, if one takes the highways of NH16 or NH49.
Best Time To Visit Ghatshila:
The Winter season is a great time to visit Ghatsila, or the early spring. Please do come here between late October to March, and you will love the weather. The scenic beauty of the hills here lined by floral trees in bloom will enchant you. At that time, you can go sightseeing easily. The summer is a bit harsher here.

Worst experience. Room charges are on much higher side compared with the charges. Rooms are small, bathroom too small, service is almost not present. Behaviour of reception persons and the owner is unpleasant. Charged extra 1.5% for credit cards otherwise asked to pay in cash. As I do not carry cash they asked to withdraw from ATM which is 5 km away and provide no assistance to reach there. No blanket was provided and rooms are full of mosquito, red ants and insects.
Adviced take a second thought before booking the property.
