Ooty is a popular hill station located in Nilgiri Hills in Tamil Nadu, officially known as Udhagamandalam. The landscape is marked by rolling hills covered with dense vegetation, smaller hills and plateaus covered with tea gardens, and eucalyptus trees. Many portions of the hills are preserved as natural reserve forests, and special permits will be needed to camp in non-camp sites. The place is not the destination in itself, as much as it is the focal point of attraction.

Day-Wise Itinerary:

Day 01: Coimbatore – Ooty

Upon arrival at the Coimbatore International Airport or Coimbatore Railway Station, you will be picked up and transferred to Ooty. Check in to a hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 02: Ooty – Coonoor – Ooty

After breakfast proceed to the sightseeing tour of Ooty. Ooty is also known as the “Queen of the Blue Mountains”; because it offers a spectacular view of Doddabetta Peak. Later, drive to Coonoor and visit the Dolphins Nose Point and Sims Park Avalanche, Ketty valley, Kodanadu point, lambs rock, tea garden. The rest of the day is free of leisure activities. By evening return to Ooty for an overnight stay.

Day 03: Ooty

After breakfast, visit the followed by a visit to the famous Botanical Garden followed by a visit to the famous Ooty Lake in the afternoon. By afternoon proceed to Coimbatore for your own journey.
