Trekking: There are a number of good trails around the property to take a short hike or go around for hours to see the 360 degrees Mountain View, and to enjoy the natural green glow of the jungle. The morning treks to see the sunrise on the Khangchendzonga is a lifetime experience.

Bonfire: In the evening, the property arranges for bonfire and food for the guests on request.

Local sightseeing tour: A day tour for the local sightseeing points as well as Zuluk, Kupup and Gnathang Valley following the old silk route can be arranged from here.

Nearby Attractions

Lampokhari Lake: One of the oldest natural lakes in Sikkim with boating facility and surrounded by pine forests and a surrounding road. There are a few trek routes near it which give a splendid view of the valley.

Kali Khola Falls: In the old silk route, near Rongli, East Sikkim, this hundred ft high cascading falls welcomes the tourists which are also known as lonely falls. One of the most visited waterfalls in the area.

Gnathang Valley and Kupup: Situated on the silk route with mesmerizing natural beauty. In Kupup, one of the world’s highest golf course- Yak golf course which is more than thirteen thousand ft is situated.

Damsang Fort: Near the town Pedong, Damsang Fort, alternatively known as Damsang Gudi, is a historical fort, built in the late seventeenth century, by one of the greatest Lepcha kings and is the witness of many battles between the Lepcha and Bhutia, and later, captured by the British East India Company. A beautiful hiking trail is here which provides a good opportunity for bird watching.

Best Time to Visit

Summer here is March-June and the temperature stays between 10-20 degree Celsius. There is heavy rainfall with chances of a landslide in the later months. In the winter months of November to February, the sky stays clear, with the occasional chance of snowfall in late December.

How to Reach

Rail: The nearest rail-station is NJP. From NJP it is nearly 100 km which takes around 3 hours 30 minutes to reach.
Air: The nearest airport is newly opened Pakyong airport. From there the distance is 40 km and takes around 2 hours to reach.
Road: From Kolkata, it is connected by Badshahi Road and NH 12 or alternatively NH 19, which is 670 km approx and takes 17 hours to reach. The property is 50 km or 2 hours from Kalimpong.
