Just think about it. You are going through a hectic week at work and the colleague you secretly hate manages a long weekend off and goes vacationing. What could be worse than this? Unfair? Obviously, yes! But if we can’t find you the best-ever destination to soothe your soul and make your haters jealous at the same time, what are we even for?

Ramdhura – An Offbeat Kalimpong Destination

We present – Ramdhura. Have you heard of Ramdhura? If you did, chances are you already loved the idea of this place. If you did not, let me tell you about Ramdhura. The place gets its name from the name of Lord Ram, and Dhura means a village in the local language. The weather of Ramdhura is not harsh at all, and rather a pleasant cold throughout the year. It is exceptionally famous for its superior views of the Kanchenjunga Mountain Range, which is why it is important to avoid the monsoons if you want to behold the beauty of the mountains, as the skies become cloudy during monsoon and hamper the clarity. The village is home to thousands of vibrant flowers, exquisite butterflies, and dense green colonies of pine trees. The forest trails are picturesque enough to post on your social media handles, and mesmerizing enough to take your breath away. However, it’s not easy to find a resort in such offbeat places without compromising your comfort to some extent but don’t worry, we found you a place.

Ramdhura Homestay is a place where you can feel at home enough to chill your heart out, while also enjoying breathtaking views of the Kanchenjunga. The rooms are very clean and spacious, and the staff at Ramdhura Homestay is extremely cordial to their guests. The resort is also close to the local Cinchona Plantation and Pine forests where you can take a relaxing stroll on a lazy winter afternoon. From the resort campus, you can experience the diamond-like glittery shine of the township below the cliff, although don’t blame us if they dazzle your eyes.
