Day 01: Pick up from NJP/Bagdogra, and transfer to Pelling, Overnight stay at Pelling.

Day 02: After breakfast, Please go to Pelling local sightseeing, overnight stay at Pelling.

Day 03: Transfer to Ravangla with Local sightseeing on the way, Overnight stay at Ravangla.

Day 04: After breakfast, please go to Ravangla, Buddha Park & Chardham local sightseeing, Overnight stay at Ravangla.

Day 05: After breakfast drop to NJP/Bagdogra

*Detailed Itinerary*

Day 1: Pick-up from Bagdogra/NJP and transfer to Pelling (approx. 5 hours journey)

As per your travel plan, you will be picked up from New Jalpaiguri/ Bagdogra. In a car, you will be transferred to Pelling. The distance is about 135 km, which will take around 5 hours to reach in a car. An alternative route is the Pakyong airport in East Sikkim, which takes about the same time, but the airport remains close often, so the Bagdogra airport is a more trusted option. The journey from Bagdogra airport/ New Jalpaiguri Junction is a scenic route and it touches some of the beautiful points on the way.

After crossing Sivok Hill forest and Sivok Kali temple, beautiful tea gardens, viewpoints overlooking the spry Teesta river, you will cross the Tista Bazar area, around which there are several good restaurants for breakfast. From there, it would take three hours more to reach Pelling.

At the end of this long journey, you will most probably be tired, so spend the remaining time relaxing in our luxurious property, the Pelling Mountain View Retreat. Else, you can take a short walk around the property. Also, the helipad is near, and you can see the helicopters landing around the afternoon and get some good pictures with the mountains in the backdrop.

Day 2: After breakfast cover sight seeing of Pelling

Start the day with a beautiful Kanchenjunga view if the sky is clear. The rooms and the surrounding area of the property offer a regal view of the mighty mountain. Finish your breakfast, as you have a busy day ahead with the local sightseeing spots to check out. Do not forget to check out the Pemayangtse Monastery and the Sanghak Choeling Monastery. Also, visit the Khecheopalri Lake, a natural waterbody, which is a place of religious importance for both Buddhists and Hindus. On the way to the lake, you can check out the Rimbi falls too. It is a steady gushing stream of waterfalls with lush green forest. After that, return to our Pelling property and stay the night there.

Day 3: Transfer to Ravangla (approx. 2 hours) covering sightseeings on the way

Today, have an early breakfast, as you will be transferred to the nearby Ravangla. The distance between Ravangla from Pelling is only 48 km, which will take around 2 hours to reach. On the way, if you leave early and manage some time, do check out the Rabdentse ruin. If you are interested in the history and heritage of Sikkim, it is a must-visit place. In this place, there was located the second capital of Sikkim from 1670 to 1814. Also, the Kirateshwar Mahadev Temple, a mesmerizing temple dedicated to Lord Shiva with an amazing view is located along the way. After you reach here, rest for the day. Also, check the surroundings of the property, the Ravangla Village Farm House. In the afternoon, you can go for a trek, in the Tendong trail, which has a high chance of bird sightings. Do take the help of local guides for a safe trip. You have an overnight stay at Ravangla tonight.

Day 4: COver Ravangla sightseeing

This morning, you may wake up early and go to the Rayong Sunrise View Point, for a majestic sunrise experience. Then, you have a local sightseeing trip after breakfast. Check out Ravangla, Buddha Park along with Chardham in local sightseeing. Bon and Ralang monastery are some of the important points here. The Buddha Park is a short distance from this property. Do not miss the Char Dham trip here. Here, you will see the replica of four of the famous Hindu temples and pilgrimage sites: Uttarakhand’s Badrinath, Odisha’s Puri, Tamil Nadu’s Rameshwaram, and Gujarat’s Dwarka. Also, there are twelve jyotirlingas here. Located in the Namchi region, the place is also known as the Siddhesvara Dham. If you can manage some time, you can go on the trek to the Maenam Wildlife Sanctuary too. However, the cost for that will be extra. After this, return to Ravangla. You have an overnight stay here.

Day 5: Drop to NJP/Bagdogra as per your train or flight timing

Enjoy a relaxing breakfast in nature, after you see the sunrise this morning. After breakfast, you will be dropped at NJP/Bagdogra as per your travel schedule. On the way back take a look at the only tea garden in Sikkim the Temi tea garden.
