The Best Time to Visit Sittong

The blossoming and the harvesting season of oranges is from November to January. This makes it the best time to visit. However, make sure you have warm clothes as it becomes very chilly during these months. Apart from that the place with a view of Kanchenjunga and pristine environment and pleasant weather throughout the year is always a great place for a weekend or a vacation plan.

How to Reach

By Train: The major stations – Siliguri is 48 km and NJP is 52 km from Sittong. From the stations, one has to book the cabs. The cabs take about 2 hours to reach depending on the road condition.

By Flight: Bagdogra airport is situated around 56 km from the town. It takes about 2 hours 15 minutes to reach depending on the road condition.
