Swimming pool and sunken bar: The property is equipped with an outdoor infinity swimming pool with a sunken bar to cool off from the tropical sun in the sea breeze stretching on the deck chairs.

Beach experiences: The Tajpur beach is moments away from this property and one can visit the place anytime, and early morning and late night with the full moon is the best time to see the red crabs on the beach for which this beach is famous for. A good beach for bathing and relaxation too.

Local treks: A short hike around the property to nearby watchtowers can be arranged. Early morning hikes to see the sunrise without a high crowd, unlike what happens in the nearby popular beaches can be a really calming experience. There are a few short forest trails nearby which give the chance to encounter the wild flora and local avifauna like bee-eaters, robins and kingfishes.

Shooting films: The property is spread across a large boundary and generally stays uninterrupted; hence it is a perfect place for shooting films for personal or commercial purpose with a beautiful natural backdrop.

Nearby Attractions:

Sankarpur and Champa River Estuary: One of the oldest beach destinations in West Bengal, Sankarpur is a harbour and fishing ground, on the river Champa. It is 15 minutes by car from the property.

Digha: The oldest and unarguably the most famous-popular beach destination of West Bengal, Digha takes around 45 minutes by car to reach from the property. For shopping or bathing in the beaches, this beach is a good choice. The Old Digha beach is now well controlled and regulated, and regaining its fame.

Mandarmani: Another famous sea beach destination, 35 minutes away from the property, this beach is famous for water sports.

Chandpur: A virgin beach, comparatively newly famous destination, 30 minutes drive from the property.

Mangrove in Bichitrapur: A unique mangrove boating experience crossing the Odisha border, in Bichitrapur, in an island. It takes about an hour to reach the place by car and then 30 minutes by boat to reach the mangrove island, depending on the tide.

Talsari and Udaipur: Popular tourist destination with beautiful beaches near Odisha and West Bengal border. It takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes to visit them both.

Best Time to Visit:

The place is fit to visit throughout the year. But in summer, the weather stays hot and humid, while on monsoon the road condition rapidly deteriorates and becomes problematic if travelling by car and should be avoided. To enjoy the beach and nature to its full extent, the perfect time for visiting here is the months of November until February end, to soak in the sun, which is not uncomfortable or humid at all. Those who have an adventure in their heart may venture in monsoon as the greenery then can soothe the soul.

How to Reach:

Rail: The nearest two major rail-stations are Contai and Digha. From Contai, auto-rickshaw can be hired till the property or pick up can be arranged upon prior request. From Digha, the distance is 18 km and it takes around 1 hour to reach by a hired car.

Air: The nearest airport is Dumdum (Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport). From there, the property is approx. 180 km and it takes around 4 hours to reach in a car.

Road: From Kolkata, it is connected via Vidyasagar Setu, Kona Expressway. The distance is 170 km and it takes around 4 hours to reach by car.
